I became involved with VTMHI because it gives me an opportunity to reach individuals who need counseling services but might not be able to access them due to a lack of health care coverage. I also love working with Veterans and underserved individuals because my family served in the military, and I come from an area where access to services was difficult if public transportation was not available. I can give back at this time of my life, so getting involved with VTMHI was the best opportunity to do just that. No judgment zone is my motto! 

Supervisees in Social Work support mental and emotional health by helping people develop strategies and solutions to life’s challenges – they have completed their education and practice under supervision until fully licensed.
