Growing up in a multicultural environment, I witnessed how mental health needs often go unaddressed due to stigma or lack of resources. These experiences motivated me to pursue a career where I could create safe, nonjudgmental spaces for individuals to heal and grow. My favorite part of being a mental health provider is witnessing moments of transformation—when patients gain insight, develop coping skills, and feel empowered to take control of their lives. The trust and connection built during therapy are deeply meaningful, and it’s an honor to hold space for others during their most vulnerable moments.
My academic and professional journey in Rehabilitation and Clinical Mental Health Counseling has solidified my dedication to supporting individuals in achieving their fullest potential. My therapeutic approach is integrative and grounded in Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Multicultural Counseling. I believe in meeting patients where they are, emphasizing empathy, respect, and collaboration.
