Mental health has always been an interest of mine. My desire to pursue a career in counseling was solidified as the need for mental health care increased during the COVID-19 pandemic. Providing accessible counseling services to those in need is something that I value, as I believe that everyone should have access to quality care. I look forward to serving with the Virginia Telemental Health Initiative. 

Residents in Counseling support mental and emotional health by helping people develop strategies and solutions to life’s challenges – they have completed their education and practice under supervision until fully licensed.
