I was drawn to VTMHI because of its mission to increase access to mental health services and strengthen the mental health workforce by offering clinical supervision to those who need it. I have worked in various positions serving a range of populations, including people in immediate crisis, the severely mentally ill, and children, youth, and families. 

As a volunteer for VTMHI, I will use my experience as a therapist and supervisor to support the development of a person’s clinical skills. I will provide guidance, feedback, and mentorship to help supervisees build their skillset, follow the ethics of the social work profession, and encourage them to prioritize self-care.
