We can’t always solve the problems that life throws at us, but I do believe it makes a difference when we have somebody caring, listening, and reminding us we’re not alone. First in support groups and then as a hospice volunteer, I’ve discovered that one of my goals as a human being is to walk with people who feel alone in their grief. I also care deeply about supporting people who have been hurt by their spiritual communities, people who are caregivers, and anyone who struggles with anxiety or depression.

I have training in art therapy–which is not about making pretty art but about using visual or creative ways to express how we feel and think. I’m also a student of Internal Family Systems and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
