I believe that everyone needs support at times and I enjoy working with free and charitable clinics to provide support to those who otherwise would not have access. My approach to counseling is person-centered, providing a supportive place for patients to confront their own ideas and beliefs. My favorite thing about being a counselor is supporting someone through a difficult day and then later seeing them have a good day. 

Residents in Counseling support mental and emotional health by helping people develop strategies and solutions to life’s challenges – they have completed their education and practice under supervision until fully licensed.
