I became a counselor because I believe in therapy’s ability to facilitate mental health healing. By providing a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental environment, and utilizing evidence-based techniques, I aim to empower patients to address their personal and social challenges.
My therapeutic approaches include Psychotherapy, Interpersonal Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Family Therapy. I have a background in working with individuals and families impacted by relational and family traumas, learning disabilities, and immigration and race/cultural traumas. My commitment to VTMHI is rooted in a desire to serve my community and instill hope in patients and their families.

Residents in Counseling support mental and emotional health by helping people develop strategies and solutions to life’s challenges – they have completed their education and practice under supervision until fully licensed.
