After I began my career in the public school system working in special and alternative education, I transitioned to in-home counseling before taking several years off to homeschool my children. I’ve also worked in hospice for close to a decade, helping families, caregivers, and patients navigate the ups and downs of grief, loss, and change. Whatever my patients are struggling with, I strive to help them work through those feelings and find a path forward. I work alongside them to develop a personalized treatment plan based on their strengths to transform their life.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time in nature, taking care of animals on my homestead, and growing in my Christian faith. 

Supervisees in Social Work support mental and emotional health by helping people develop strategies and solutions to life’s challenges – they have completed their education and practice under supervision until fully licensed.
