Gretchen Garber, LCSW

Clinical Supervisor

Gretchen has over 10 years of solo private practice experience working with individuals and couples. Additionally, she has worked in inpatient and non-profit outpatient settings providing direct therapeutic services, case management, crisis intervention, and resource and referral to a wide range of populations including domestic violence survivors, people without homes, persons with severe mental illness, veterans, and under or uninsured persons. Her graduate research, career, and the populations she enjoys working with most are centered around people who suffer from the effects of trauma and incorporating a variety of therapeutic interventions to alleviate symptoms, including EMDR. Her career began in the non-profit free clinic sector providing both direct and programmatic services and her work with VTMHI will once again combine those focuses to serve the individual and community at large.
