I got involved with VTMHI because its mission and purpose to serve the underserved is, to me, fundamental to being a social worker. My supervisory approach is to help developing clinicians integrate clinical, micro-level one-on-one work with macro-level work in how one’s family, community, systems, and the world at large impact the individual.
My 16 years of experience working with rural and urban non-profits, hospitals, private practice, and volunteering with social justice organizations help guide future clinicians and patients to navigate and resolve their inner and outer world stressors.Â
Licensed Clinical Social Workers support mental and emotional health by helping people develop strategies and solutions to life’s challenges.
