I strongly believe one of the most useful tools a therapist has is the relationship built with their patient. As a Mexican-American I am able to offer services in Spanish and understand the difficulties that come with being a part of the immigrant community. My goal is to find a treatment that feels obtainable for you while also encouraging strength and growth.
Being a part of VTMHI has filled me with the kind of excitement that drew me into wanting to pursue social work. I am always driven to give back to my community and find creative new ways to reshape our current system to better work for those that we are helping.
Supervisees in Social Work support mental and emotional health by helping people develop strategies and solutions to life’s challenges – they have completed their education and practice under supervision until fully licensed.
