I have been a School Counselor for the last twelve years. As I have grown as a counselor, I have seen the rise in mental health needs, especially with our youth. This growing need for direct support services has driven my desire to become a Licensed Professional Counselor. I practice with a unique set of skills as I have been counseling school aged children for over a decade. I deeply understand the mental health needs of children and how family and school life blend together and that strategies used in therapy need to be accessible in all realms of the patient’s life. I am deeply committed to helping the youth in my community and will be taking clients after school hours to help meet my goal of being a Licensed Professional Counselor.
